Nigel Russell
Nigel was admitted as a solicitor in 1971 and practised in his father's firm of Mackenzie Russell & Co continuously from then until December 2014.
Nigel practises principally in:
- all aspects of property law
- wills and probate
- small business matters
- notarial services
His practice merged with Emil Ford Lawyers in 2015, then in mid 2019 with Toomey Pegg. Nigel's many clients, and often their families, come back to seek his assistance, some for in excess of 30 years, and he continues to provide practical and well considered assistance to them all.
In 1984, Nigel was appointed a Notary Public and, from 1986 until 2013 served The Society of Notaries of New South Wales Inc. as Honorary Secretary. He was Vice President of the Society from 2013 to 2016 and between 1990 and 2016 he assisted the College of Law in presentation of its teaching seminars for aspiring notaries. He continues to practise extensively in a wide range of notarial areas and has acted for international corporations, banks, Government departments, public companies, as well as for many individuals.
Nigel is a keen, active social tennis player and is dedicated to his family.
